We run Google Ads and Meta Ads together for service businesses, B2B companies and D2C brands, against one number: cost per enquiry, or ROAS if you sell online. Management starts at ₹35,000 a month plus 18% GST, with ad spend paid directly to Google and Meta.

The checks every account goes through first.
Performance marketing is advertising you judge on what each enquiry or sale costs, with budget moved every week towards whatever produces them. If you can’t measure the enquiry, it isn’t performance marketing yet.
In practice that means Google Ads for people already searching, Meta Ads for people who aren’t, and one report that puts both side by side on the same measure. For lead businesses the measure is cost per enquiry. For e-commerce it’s ROAS, return on ad spend, wherever revenue can be tracked.
The agency’s real job is less glamorous than the name. Set tracking up properly. Keep ads on the right searches and audiences. Cut what doesn’t produce. And say plainly when a channel isn’t working, or when ads aren’t the right next step at all.

Calls, WhatsApp messages and form leads counted as conversions on Google; replying conversations counted on Meta; revenue where you sell online. Built before the first campaign goes live.
Google for buyers already searching, Meta for buyers who don’t know they need you yet. The split follows the cost per enquiry each channel delivers, not a fixed percentage.
Search-term review and new negatives on Google, creative tested in batches on Meta, and budget moved towards whichever is producing enquiries at the target cost.
Enquiries, cost per enquiry and, where trackable, revenue, for each channel and in total. Clicks and impressions are the explanation, not the result.
Different businesses, different measures: a Google enquiry and a Meta conversation aren’t the same thing, which is why each is reported against its own target. Both are published on our paid ads and lead generation page.
You set up tracking before you spend, and you agree in advance what counts as a conversion. Wasted ad budget usually starts with counting the wrong thing.
On Google, a conversion is a call, a WhatsApp message or a form lead, not a page view. On Meta, it’s a conversation where the buyer replies, not a click. Where the sale happens online, revenue is tracked so ROAS is a real number rather than a platform estimate.
Attribution is never perfect. A buyer can see your Instagram ad on Monday and search your name on Google on Thursday. We don’t pretend one dashboard solves that. We report each channel on its own measure, show the combined cost per enquiry across both, and, where you have a CRM, match enquiries to the ones that became customers.

From our portfolioUnderlinen · Winter scroll-stoppers for French Connection & PUMAPaid ads amplify what’s already there, good or bad. If one of these is true, fix it first. We’ll say so on the first call, even if it means the ads work waits.
If you can’t tell which enquiries came from ads, you can’t optimise them, and neither can Google’s or Meta’s bidding. Tracking comes first. It’s the first thing we do on any account anyway.
Sending paid clicks to a homepage that doesn’t explain the offer is the most expensive way to learn it doesn’t work. Click-to-WhatsApp on Meta can bridge the gap; Google needs a page. Our website design projects are ₹60,000 to ₹2,50,000, one-time.
If nobody has bought yet at your price, ads will tell you that, expensively. Prove the offer at a small scale first. Early-stage D2C brands can start with our ₹30,000 launch sprint.
If calls go unanswered or WhatsApp replies take a day, more ads only buy more missed enquiries. Fix the follow-up first, or automate it with a CRM.

We audit any existing accounts, agree the target (cost per enquiry or ROAS), and set up and test conversion tracking on both platforms.
The channel closest to the buyer usually goes first: Google Search for people already searching, Meta click-to-WhatsApp for people who aren’t. Both at once only makes sense with enough budget to learn on each.
Google search terms reviewed and negatives added, Meta creative tested in batches, and budget moved to the channel and campaigns producing enquiries at target.
Scale what’s working, cut what isn’t, and say plainly when a channel should stop.
There’s no universally right answer. These are the questions that decide it. We’ve left out market rates because they vary too much to be useful; compare options on these criteria instead.
| Criteria | Agency | Freelancer | In-house hire |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | A team of specialists, depending on the agency | One person | One person, or a team you build |
| Cover for leave or exit | Someone else already knows the account | Depends on one person | Depends on one person until you hire a second |
| Google and Meta both | Usually; ask who actually runs each | Often strong on one platform | Depends on the hire |
| Creative | Often available in a higher plan | Usually bought separately | Needs a designer as well |
| Tracking and reporting | Should be standard; ask for a sample report | Varies widely | Depends on skills you can assess |
| Cost structure | Monthly fee + ad spend | Monthly or hourly fee + ad spend | Salary, tools and training + ad spend |
| Usually suits | Both channels run against one target without building a team | One channel, a modest budget | Large, steady spend where a full-time owner pays back |
| Question to ask | Is any work offshored or white-labelled? | Who covers when you’re away? | Who reviews their work? |

At SocialOrange, management starts at ₹35,000 a month plus 18% GST. Management with creative is ₹65,000 a month and full-funnel Google plus Meta is ₹1,50,000 a month. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platforms.
Performance marketing is the part of digital marketing you judge on cost per enquiry or ROAS and adjust every week. Digital marketing also covers SEO, social content and brand work, which pay back over longer periods and are measured differently.
Start with the one closest to your buyer: Google if people already search for what you sell, Meta if they don’t yet. Our published results: ₹773 per enquiry on Google for a cosmetic surgery clinic, and ₹44 per WhatsApp conversation on Meta for an import service, both on our paid ads page.
The one your margins can afford. Work back from what a customer is worth to you and how many enquiries become customers. We agree that target with you before launch rather than quoting an industry average that may not fit your business.
When there’s no tracking, no landing page that converts, an unproven offer, or nobody to answer the enquiries. Fix those first, because ads only make them more expensive. For long B2B sales cycles, SEO and content often need to work alongside ads.
