A website designed and built by SocialOrange costs ₹60,000 to ₹2,50,000 one-time, plus 18% GST, on WordPress or Shopify, for service businesses, B2B companies and D2C brands. Where your project lands in that range depends on how many page templates you need, custom design or a theme, integrations such as payments, CRM and WhatsApp, and whether we write the content and set up SEO.

With SocialOrange, a website costs ₹60,000 to ₹2,50,000 one-time plus 18% GST, designed and built on WordPress or Shopify by our in-house team in Bangalore.
A straightforward WordPress site for a service business, built on a well-made theme, sits at the lower end. A custom-designed Shopify store with payments, a CRM connection and content written for you sits at the upper end. Your quote will say exactly what put the price where it is.
Hosting and ongoing maintenance are quoted separately, so the build price is just the build price, and you can compare the running costs on their own.

From our portfolioZephyr Visa · Immigration consultancy websiteCommon project types and where they typically land between ₹60,000 and ₹2,50,000. These are positions in our range, not separate prices; your quote follows your actual scope.
| Project type | Platform | What it usually involves | Where it typically sits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Service business or clinic website | WordPress | A handful of pages on a good theme: home, services, about, contact. Enquiry form and WhatsApp button. Basic SEO set-up. | Typically lower end of our range |
| Small Shopify store on a theme | Shopify | Theme set-up, a small catalogue, collections, payment gateway and WhatsApp chat. | Typically lower end of our range |
| B2B company website | WordPress | Custom design, several page templates (services, industries, case studies, blog) and forms connected to your CRM. | Typically middle of our range |
| Redesign of a site that already ranks | WordPress or Shopify | New design plus a page-by-page redirect plan, so the Google rankings you already have aren’t lost. | Typically middle of our range |
| Custom-designed Shopify store | Shopify | Custom design for home, product and collection templates, a larger catalogue, CRM and WhatsApp integrations, product content. | Typically upper end of our range |
| Multi-service or multi-location website | WordPress | Many templates, content written for each service or location, integrations and a full SEO set-up. | Typically upper end of our range |
All website prices are exclusive of 18% GST. Hosting and maintenance are quoted separately.
Six things move a project up or down our range. If you want to bring a quote down, these are the levers.

The count that matters is templates, not pages. Many product pages on one template are less work than a few pages that each need their own layout. More distinct templates move the price up.
WordPress suits service businesses, B2B companies and content-heavy sites. Shopify suits brands selling products online, with checkout built in. The platform matters less to the price than what you need it to do.
A well-chosen theme, adapted to your brand, is the faster and cheaper route. A design drawn from scratch for your brand takes more designer time and sits higher in the range.
Payment gateways, your CRM, WhatsApp, booking tools, email lists and analytics. Each one has to be connected and tested so leads and orders actually arrive. More integrations, higher price.
If you hand over final text and good photos, the price comes down. If we write the copy for every page, or product and team photos have to be arranged, it goes up.
Titles and descriptions, clean URLs, site speed, a sitemap and Search Console. On a redesign, it also means redirecting every old URL so you keep the traffic you already have.
Our recommendation is simple: if you sell products online, Shopify. If you sell a service, WordPress. Here is why.
| WordPress | Shopify | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Service businesses, B2B companies, clinics, content-heavy sites | Brands selling products online |
| Checkout and payments | Possible with plugins, with more set-up | Built in |
| Blog and content | Very strong; easy to grow a large blog | Works, with a simpler blog |
| Layout flexibility | Very flexible | Flexible within Shopify’s theme system |
| Running costs after launch | Hosting (we quote it separately) and any paid plugins | Shopify’s own monthly plan and any paid apps, billed to you by Shopify |
| Our recommendation | Pick it if you sell a service | Pick it if you sell products online |
Use this as a checklist for every quote you get, ours included. If something isn’t written down, assume it isn’t included.
Hosting, ongoing maintenance and platform subscriptions sit outside the one-time project price.
We quote hosting and maintenance separately, so you can see and compare them on their own rather than finding them buried in the build fee. On Shopify, the monthly plan and any paid apps are billed to you directly by Shopify.
Marketing after launch is separate too. If you want the new site to bring in traffic and enquiries, see our SEO packages, Google Ads fees or social media packages.

With SocialOrange, a website costs ₹60,000 to ₹2,50,000 one-time, plus 18% GST. The number of page templates, the platform, custom design or a theme, integrations, content and SEO set-up decide where your project falls in that range.
Not automatically: the scope decides the build price, not the platform. The running costs differ, though. Shopify charges its own monthly plan and app fees, while WordPress needs hosting, which we quote separately.
No. Hosting and maintenance are quoted separately, so the one-time price covers the design and build only, and you can compare running costs on their own.
We can, and it moves the price up the range. If you supply final text and good photos, the price comes down.
Yes. SEO set-up is part of how we scope every build: titles and descriptions, clean URLs, site speed, a sitemap and Search Console. On a redesign it includes redirects from your old URLs so existing rankings aren’t lost.
One-time projects are paid 100% on signing, plus 18% GST. The scope and timeline are agreed in writing before you sign.
No, ₹60,000 is where our website projects start. If you need something simpler, a template builder or a freelancer may suit you better. If the site has to bring in enquiries, ask any provider exactly what the price includes.
